About Us

Given the unique political and cultural climate in South Africa, which is different to many other African countries, we wish to create a group specifically dedicated to this nation. This will provide a forum for South Africans and others interested in the country to discuss politics, network, listen to local music and celebrate South African traditions and holidays. We wish to celebrate our diverse culture, welcome freshmen, bid farewell to seniors and be a point of contact for anyone wanting to visit the country. We could also be a bridge between the new Harvard office situated in Johannesburg and the undergraduate students currently at Harvard. Furthermore, we aim to be in touch with South African alumni network and faculty.
