About Us
Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) is a primary care clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital designed for children with behavioral and learning disabilities. Our ASK club aligns with this clinic; members serve as advocates for patient families. Our mission is to support the ASK clinic and its patients through advocacy work. Harvard undergraduates serve as Advocates. They not only have the opportunity to shadow physicians in the ASK Clinic, but also serve patient families as well. Advocates provides a great deal of support to families including access to social and educational resources and an alternative line of communication to the Clinic. Advocates fill a key gap in the healthcare services that families of the ASK Clinic receive.
