This event is a celebration of the diverse African cultures represented within the Harvard community and beyond. Its primary purpose is to foster community, cultural appreciation, and cross-cultural exchange among students.

The event will feature catered food from various African regions, sourced from local vendors, to showcase the continent’s rich culinary diversity. There will also be live performances by students, including music, dance, and spoken word, that highlight different African cultural traditions.

While centered on African heritage, this event is open to all members of the Harvard community, regardless of cultural background. We welcome everyone to join in learning about, engaging with, and celebrating the cultures and communities that make up the African diaspora.
