The HUA Spring Election begins at midnight on April 2 and will run until 10 AM on April 4. Students will be able to cast their vote through the Voting Booth on SOCO.
Ranked-Choice Voting is used to determine all election results.
Make Harvard Great Again. Why aren't we #1 in school rankings? Why do we have bad toilet paper? Why is jefes so expensive? Because we don't have good HUA presidents. Vote for good presidents. NATHAN WESTBROOK and CHASE BOURBON.
We're Abdullah Shahid Sial and Caleb Thompson, and we’re running for HUA Co-Presidents because Harvard students deserve a student government that actually fights for them — not one that quietly nods along. From unpopular admin decisions to broken funding systems, the HUA has failed to show up. Let’s change that.
Anyways, have you ever thought about how much homework sucks? Because we’ve thought about how much homework sucks. Homework really sucks. That’s why we’re running to get rid of it.
Under our presidency, the average Harvard student will go from having several hours of homework per night to zero. Now, we know what you’re thinking: “By God, this sounds mad! Insane! Genius! I can hardly wait until the polls open so that I can cast my vote for these brilliant scoundrels!” And to that, we say, “Geez, man. Chill. Let us explain how we’re going to do it first.”
We believe every student should have a say in their student government. We’re proud to be running for HUA Co-Presidents on one simple premise: Your Voice, Your Harvard.
We know that HUA Co-Presidents often overpromise and underdeliver. That’s why we’ve carefully chosen to focus on a specific set of issues that we KNOW we can deliver on.
Omosefe Noruwa and Matthew Tobin are fighting to put You First.
For the last year, we’ve served on the HUA Executive Team and the HUA Cabinet with the constant goal of improving the experience of all students at Harvard. That is why we have worked to:
● Maintain Gen Ed Pass-Fail for all current students
● Advocate for student representation on the Ad Board, better leaves of absence, and more
● Foster school-wide unity through the newly created Unity Crews and events like Welcome Week, the LDOC Carnival, and Concentration Declaration Day
