Statement on the HUA Survey 

The Election Commission would like to address the misinformation shared in The Crimson article regarding the Harvard Undergraduate Association survey.  

The survey questions are not votes on the issues presented. The survey results have no impact on the Harvard Undergraduate Association, Harvard College, or Harvard University.  

As noted in the introduction to the survey, the Harvard Undergraduate Association allows all recognized student organizations to submit survey questions to gain feedback from the Harvard College community. 

The views, opinions, and content expressed in these questions do not reflect those of the Harvard Undergraduate Association, Harvard College, or Harvard University. The HUA neither endorses nor opposes any positions represented in these survey questions. Additionally, responses to these questions have no impact on the HUA, Harvard College, or Harvard University.

The HUA Election Commission reaffirms that all students are integral members of the Harvard community and have the full right to participate safely and openly in all aspects of campus life and discourse.
